WEB - AIR AMS

 With increasing security regulations being  implemented by US Customs and Border Protection, Sectra is working hard to ease the burden for freight intermediaries, forwarders and carriers.  Sectra is a US Customs Certified Service Bureau for the Automated Manifest System (AMS).  By utilizing the Air AMS software, clients are able to transmit manifest information directly to US Customs and clear the shipment prior to arrival at a US airport. 

Manifest information is manually entered or uploaded from a company’s backend system to populate the Sectra database.  Carriers and freight forwarders are then able to view and edit manifests simply by logging onto a secure website.  Status messages, for each manifest, are updated directly from US Customs within moments of entering the shipment into the program.
